But the quarry stone sculptures in the nature reserve at the top of the Isle of Portland was an interesting visit that is not always on the tourist trail and the Coast Road west via Abbotsbury has stunning views and sandy beaches unlike the access to Chesil Beach closest to the Farm Cottages which is just high shingle.
